The Pre-Congress forum of People who Use Drugs [PUD] Forum
 

The Pre-Congress forum of People who Use Drugs [PUD] Forum was held as part of the ICAAP IX at Sanur Beach Hotel on the 8th August 2009. There were 120 participants from 13 countries. Most were drug users and supporters of the drug users cause. The issues discussed were as folllows:

  1. Global politics and economics of drug policy
  2. Drug use: Medical, recreational and other purposes
  3. Criminal justice system: is it stilll relevant to drug users?
  4. Access to health and other public services
  5. Torture and abuses to drug offender
  6. Counter ‘war on drugs’ strategic campaign
