Your Excellencies,

Distinguished representatives of friendly countries across the region and   other parts of the world who have shown solidarity with us by attending this meeting.

Representatives of the UN family of agencies, AIDS Ambassadors and Champion.

Ladies and gentlemen, participants in this 9th ICAAP  - young and old, AIDS activists, advocates, care givers, people living with HIV, legislators and jurists, counselors, peer educators, volunteers in many fields, Members of the media who have faithfully followed and recorded our deliberations in this meeting, 

Dear Friends,

It is my honor today to speak a few final words, and I promise only a few,  on the occasion of the closing of this 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific.
