A number of hotels in Bali have been selected as Official Hotels for 9th ICAAP delegates. These hotels vary from 5-star to 3-star categories, located in Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Sanur and Tuban/Kuta areas, all in South Bali. All hotels offer rooms with private bath, telephone, TV and some also have Internet access in the rooms.
For the complete list of official hotels, please see the relevant section in the congress website. The rates are net, inclusive of the high season surcharge, 21% government tax and service charge, and breakfast for 1 or 2 persons.
Application for accommodation may be done online on the website or use the form attached on the Second Announcement, and sent the completed forms via email or fax to the Secretariat. Proof of full payment should also be faxed to the Secretariat.
Please note that only a limited number of rooms in each hotel have been contracted for accomodation of 9th ICAAP delegates. Therefore all confirmations will be based on a first come, first served basis and upon receipt of payment. If a certain hotel is already fully booked, the Organising Committee reserves the right to reallocate the delegate to another hotel chosen as second or third preference. Due to the limited number of rooms at the preferred hotels, we highly recommend that you make your hotel reservations at an early stage.
All hotel reservation must be made before 1 May 2009. Reservations made after 1 May 2009 may be accepted but will be subject to room availability. Kindly note that all prices stated are published rates which are not inclusive of a high season surcharge (differs among each hotel) and may increase without prior notice on the date of the booking made.
Official Congress Shuttle
All delegates will be entitled to complimentary airport transfers and free shuttle service between the official hotels and the congress venue (twice a day), including registered accompanying persons. Those staying at alternative hotels are also entitled to this service, but will be picked-up/dropped-off at the nearest official hotel only.

You may also consider alternative hotels, located in the Tanjung Benoa, Sanur and Kuta-Tuban areas, which varies from budget to 4-star category hotels. However, the 9th ICAAP local organising committee will not be able to make reservations for you in hotels other then the official 9th ICAAP hotels and provide any free shuttle bus from these hotels, but delegates may wish to go to the nearest drop/pick-up zones or official hotel where shuttle service is provided. You may wish to contact the hotel directly to make reservations. The organising committee will not take any responsibilities for all the arrangements made to these hotels. Should you choose to stay in other parts of Bali, please check the web section on Transportation to see if your preferred area is covered by the congress shuttle service. You may start searching from the abundant online resources about Bali through the internet, such as Bali Blog, Bali Plus, InBaliHotels, Bali Guide, Visit Bali Online and others.
Kindly please note that August is peak season for tourism in Bali. Many hotels add a high season surcharge to room fares, so prices stated in the website on the day you logged in may increase without prior notice on the date of booking. Each hotel may also have their own reservation and payment policy.
You are advised to contact the hotel directly and make your own inquiries and reservations. The local organising committee cannot be held liable by delegates for any costs or losses incurred while making reservations.
